Goals

The faculty considers the cultivation of excellent occupational therapy practitioners as the most important teaching goal. Graduates of the School would work as clinicians, educators, administrators and researchers in the occupational therapy profession. Therefore, our teaching emphasizes the training of professional abilities, practice of research projects and nature of administrative concepts. The faculty and students work closely with affiliated hospitals in order to combine education and clinical practice, and to enhance the quality of patient care as well.

We are very proud of the richness and variety of education we provide. Our teacher-student ratio is good (around 1 to 10), which helps us to keep the tradition of excellent interactions among teachers and students. The theory and practice of occupational therapy are well integrated in our education. The various specialty of our faculty provides plenty of choices for students to meet their interests. In addition to the advanced equipments for education, the closed connections of our department and many institutions help us to satisfy the different needs of students to develop their skills of research or practice in the field of their interests. The reputation of good education can be reflected via the excellent performance of our students in the national examine for the license of occupational therapy as well as the great feedback from the evaluation of our education from students and the third institution.
